HAVER & BOECKER OHG: Disposal solutions - appreciated by our customers

HAVER & BOECKER OHG develops and manufactures packing machines and screening machines for the raw materials industry and offers innovative solutions for packaging, storage, logistics and processing technology.

The initial situation

HAVER & BOECKER OHG had been looking for a service provider who could design and implement integrated and cost-effective site disposal concepts for its German locations.

Solution

As part of a detailed actual-state survey, all data relevant to waste and the environment was recorded, analysed and combined in a material flow concept. This concept included both the economic processes and redesigning internal logistics. A colour coding system and new collection structures were introduced at the sites for this purpose, and internal processes were further optimised. Thanks to the improved quality of the material flows, disposal costs and revenue from recyclable materials were sustainably optimised by more than 35%, and internal recycling rates were significantly increased. The alternative disposal routes and disposal facilities were also audited as part of this cooperation.
