Waste management

Closing cycles through optimal recycling processes

hpm is a successful service provider for the owners of electrical and electronic equipment when it becomes time to dispose of them. Data deletion, remarketing, customs destruction or the disposal of low-level radioactive sources are just a few examples of the comprehensive range of services we offer based on more than 30 years' experience.

As an independent service provider, we work with reliable network partners in waste disposal management to offer you cost-effective logistics and recycling processes for all waste streams. And, of course, we handle the documentation of your waste streams in accordance with the Commercial Waste Ordinance.

You can rely on our expertise. Together, we will not only ensure economical management of recyclable materials and waste disposal, but also actively contribute to the conservation of resources.

"It is important for us to integrate our responsibility for society and the environment into our core business. The introduction of our international recycling concept makes a significant contribution here."

Jon Staudacher | Head of Tool Service Engineering | Hilti Gruppe

Since 2006, Hellmann Process Management (HPM) has been supporting the Hilti Group, one of the world's leading construction technology groups, in the fields of waste electrical and electronic equipment disposal and compliance with WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment).

The Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV) stipulates that commercial enterprises must separate their waste, such as paper, wood, glass and metals, at the point of generation in order to ensure that the most value is retrieved from the waste. These rules do not apply to waste subject to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) or the Battery Act (§1 para. 4 of the regulation).

According to the new version of the Commercial Waste Ordinance in place since August 2017, waste producers are obliged to collect certain waste streams separately. In addition, they are required to document this separation (sketches, photos, weighing and collection receipts, invoices, etc.). This documentation must be forwarded to the competent authority on request.
